Presales Solution Architect – Microsoft Modern Workplace & Infrastructure

UK (Hybrid – North of England)

We’re working with a well-established UK Managed Services provider looking to hire an experienced Presales Solution Architect to support continued growth across their Microsoft and infrastructure practices.

This is a fully off-the-tools role, focused on solution design, customer engagement, and producing high-quality technical documentation rather than delivery. The position sits at the heart of the sales and technical function, helping shape customer solutions from initial engagement through to proposal stage.

The role will involve: End-to-end presales engagement including requirements gathering, solution design, proposals, and SOW creation Designing Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions alongside core infrastructure services Working closely with sales teams and specialist technical functions Leading customer workshops and owning the technical design narrative Producing clear, high-quality customer-facing documentation

We’re looking for someone who: Has a strong background in Presales or Solution Architecture within an MSP or services environment Is experienced across Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies and wider IT infrastructure Enjoys the consultative side of presales and engaging with customers Is comfortable translating technical solutions into commercial value
