Organisational Context The British Tourist Authority (BTA) is the national tourism agency and a non-departmental public body funded by the Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) and trades under the name of VisitBritain/VisitEngland (VB/VE).

Main purpose of the role The Procurement and Contracts Manager is a pivotal role within the Department and provides effective deputy cover for the Senior Contracts Manager. This role will help the BTA to deliver:

A strategic commercial input to a broad range of procurement & commercial initiatives. A flexible approach to driving financial and non-financial benefits to all business areas. Procurement best practice, including supporting the delivery of BTA’s Commercial Strategy 2020-2023 & procurement vision.

The Procurement and Contracts Manager will have responsibility to deliver the management of procurement activity across multiple categories of spend including, Marketing, Digital & IT, HR & Professional Services and Estates.
