Do you have experience of coordinating projects and exceptional organisational skills? Can you work effectively as part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team? Are you looking for a challenging role which enables you to work across a diverse range of activities and with a variety of people to support clinical research?
You will provide high quality project support for the Child Health Outcomes Research at Leeds (CHORAL) programme, in particular supporting projects within the Neonatal Clinical Care Research Theme.
Your responsibilities will include the coordination of research projects, monitoring progress against objectives, and supporting stakeholder engagement, communications and reporting activities. You will work with the CHORAL Core Leadership Team and staff across the University of Leeds, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Leeds Hospitals Charity and other project collaborators.
You will have experience of successful project management and preferably this would be in an academic, healthcare or clinical environment. You will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject area (or have equivalent experience), possess excellent interpersonal skills and have proven experience of working effectively as both part of a team and independently.
The Child Health Outcomes Research at Leeds (CHORAL) programme is an exciting new platform to support and develop child health research across Leeds. This £5 million programme, running between 2023-29, will create a world-leading platform of academic excellence in children’s healthcare through:
Establishment of the multidisciplinary Leeds Hospitals Charity Child Health Outcomes Research at Leeds Research Centre (CHORAL RC), an inter-organisational initiative comprising members from across the Faculty of Medicine and Health (FMH) at the University of Leeds (UoL) and Leeds Children’s Hospital (LCH) at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT). A co-ordinated programme of pipeline development of child health researchers. Our programme will draw on expertise across the UoL and tap into the world-class research on childhood development – enabling a truly holistic approach to improving child health. CHORAL operates across the University of Leeds and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
