Project Architect
Rees Architects is seeking a talented Architect with a minimum of three years of post-Part 3 experience to join our studio in London.
ABOUT US Rees Architects is a design-oriented practice specialising in well-refined refurbishments, extensions, and retrofit basements for London's heritage properties. We primarily work in the private residential sector, creating personalised designs while collaborating closely with our domestic clients.
ABOUT YOU We are looking for an experienced Architect who is construction-minded and proficient in producing detailed drawing packs for Tender and Construction. The ideal candidate must demonstrate their experience in producing working drawing packs for domestic UK residential projects. Ideally, they would have experience working with historical Victorian and Georgian properties in London, which would include architecture and interiors.

MAIN SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 3+ years post-Part 3 experience in the private residential sector – UK experience is essential. AutoCAD is essential InDesign & Photoshop SketchUp & Enscape is a bonus Knowledge of RIBA and JCT construction contracts is a bonus
EXPERIENCE A confident understanding and working knowledge of the domestic private residential projects process (London specifically) Experienced and have a good knowledge of working through RIBA stages 4-7 Production of Detailed Design packs for Tender and Construction An eye for interior design and detailing: bespoke joinery, kitchen, bathroom Experience with leading regular site inspections and coordination with contractors, Contract Administrators, and other consultants and designers Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations Experience working with Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas is desirable
