Project Director – Construction Consultancy

Salary: c. £100,000 + bonus + benefits Location: London

The Company A well-established, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy with a strong reputation across the UK market.

The business provides a full-service offering including Project Management, Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveying and Building Surveying, delivering projects across both public and private sectors.

With a collaborative, client-focused approach and an employee-led culture, the company has built long-standing relationships and a strong pipeline of repeat business.

The Role This is a senior leadership position focused on business development, client growth and project delivery.

The role will sit across both the Employer’s Agent and Project Management teams, playing a key role in driving revenue, securing new work and strengthening client relationships.

Key Responsibilities Lead business development activities across London and the wider UK market Proactively win new work through existing relationships, networking and market engagement Lead and manage tenders and bids, including strategy, positioning and client interaction Build and maintain a strong client network, particularly across Commercial and Infrastructure sectors Represent the business at industry events, networking forums and client meetings Take ownership of key client accounts, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships Provide strategic oversight on project delivery, from inception through to completion Collaborate internally to cross-sell services across the consultancy’s offering Support and mentor senior team members, contributing to wider business growth

Key Sectors Commercial (offices, mixed-use, logistics, retail) Infrastructure (utilities, urban development, energy, public sector)

Candidate Profile Proven experience operating at Project Director / Associate Director / Director level within a consultancy Strong track record in business development and revenue generation Ability to bring an existing client network and pipeline Well-connected within the London market, ideally across Commercial or Infrastructure Experience leading tenders, bids and client presentations Strong project delivery background (Project Management and/or Employer’s Agent) Commercially astute with a strategic mindset Strong leadership skills with the ability to win work and drive teams
