We are actively involved in large-scale infrastructure programmes across the UK and pride ourselves on our commitment to working on interesting and ground-breaking projects, and we are proud of our highly skilled, dynamic staff. We offer a full range of fieldwork, consultancy, survey, post-excavation and public archaeology services and have one of Britain’s largest and most experienced teams of artefact, ecofact and conservation specialists. We are a CIfA Registered Organisation with ISO accredited Integrated Management System. We pride ourselves on encouraging people to grow during their time at AOC, with their ambitions matching ours. We are one of the few companies to have a bespoke and transparent Job Progression Scheme (our Job Aspiration Matrix) which is outlined at point of induction; this JAM is a clear tool to be used by all of our 185 staff to plan their career path either in, or outwith, AOC. The JAM, of course, also ensures that we always adhere to all industry standards, pay and conditions.
