About the role We are looking for a Software QA Engineer to join our QA Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of both new features being added to the product and existing functionality are implemented correctly as per the specification. This will be done via both manual testing and the creation and maintenance of automated test cases to validate the feature set. The successful candidate will work closely with the product, development & UI/UX teams to understand the new features and to provide input into the testing performed. The successful candidate will also need to have a technical mindset and enjoy working in a fast team environment. This role is based in our Head Office - Newry, Co.Down, Northern Ireland. • You’ll be a key part of our QA testing team, contributing to all phases of the software test lifecycle functional and non-functional including security across new and existing products. • Create and maintain manual and automated test cases and suites. • Identify, track and manage defects through the testing lifecycle. • Mobile/Web/Desktop testing across various applications. • Contribute to test planning for appropriate products. • Define and produce QA reports for defects and test execution reports • Collaborate with other teams to support and deliver our software solutions. • Participate in scrum activities and actively support product owners and assigned product teams. About you You'll need to have: • At least 2 years experience working in a QA software testing role with hands on experience in supporting test execution in mobile, web and desktop applications • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously • Extensive knowledge of creating automate test cases using Selenium • Previous experience using JIRA as a defect tracking system • Proven ability to adhere to QA processes including creating and maintaining test cases and suites using TestRail • Proficient with testing RESTful API’s using Postman • Ability to collaborate with various teams It'd be great if you had • Knowledge of following AWS cloud platform services – DynamoDB, Cognito, Lambda, CloudWatch
