Join Our Team as a Reception Badging Officer
We're looking for a professional, customer-focused Front of House Security Officer to join our onsite team at Visa in Basingstoke. This is more than a traditional security role — you'll be the first point of contact for visitors, delivering a seamless, welcoming experience while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.
About The Role
Deliver a professional front-of-house service, welcoming visitors and managing enquiries Oversee access control, visitor management, and badging processes Monitor security systems and respond promptly to alarms and incidents Conduct patrols and support investigations, ensuring accurate reporting Maintain detailed records, audit trails, and compliance documentation Support emergency response procedures in line with site protocols Provide administrative support, ensuring all security data and logs are up to date Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
You Will Be Responsible For
Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere Conducting regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism. Monitoring access points, CCTV, and handling security procedures Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed. Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns. Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required. Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns Working as part of a diverse, supportive team

Essential Requirements
What we are looking for:
Full UK Driving Licence Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence First Aid at Work certification Experience with access control systems Ability to stand for extended periods
Desirable
5+ years' experience in corporate security with a customer-facing focus
