Role Description We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join our team in Plymouth. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for welcoming guests, managing front desk operations, and ensuring excellent client experience. Day-to-day tasks include handling phone calls, managing reservations, providing guest information, and performing various clerical duties to support the smooth operation of the hotel. The Receptionist is a key point of contact for guests, ensuring that their stay is seamless and enjoyable while upholding the standards of Legacy Hotels & Resorts.
Qualifications Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries and liaise with team members and guests effectively. Experience in receptionist duties, check-in & out procedures, upselling, clerical tasks and maintaining an organized front desk. Proficiency in customer service with the ability to create a positive guest experience and address inquiries or concerns promptly. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy in bookings and seamless service delivery. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with hotel booking software and office applications. Previous hospitality or front desk experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to suitable candidates.
