Entry Level
Encourage Mental Health provides training to churches and Christian organisations to improve understanding and support around mental health. We are seeking a Volunteer Regional Events Coordinator to help plan and coordinate training days for all involved in churches.
What difference will you make?
This role will play a vital part in enabling us to reach more people in churches and communities across the UK.
By developing and coordinating regional training events, you will help equip churches to respond with compassion, wisdom, and confidence.
This work will contribute to reducing stigma around mental health within Christian communities, creating spaces where people feel able to be open about their struggles and seek support. In doing so, it supports churches to reflect God’s love through informed, safe, and compassionate care.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual who is confident taking initiative and leading on projects.
The ideal volunteer will have experience in event planning, project coordination, or a similar role, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
An interest in mental health and a commitment to supporting churches and Christian communities is important. The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively is key.
Experience working with churches or faith-based organisations would be beneficial but is not essential.
