Regulatory Reporting Accountant

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to work with them on a 2-year fixed-term contract.

The responsibilities of the Regulatory Reporting Accountant will include:

Produce regulatory returns (COREP, FINREP, BoE) on time to meet deadlines Improve automation of the regulatory reporting platform (SUADE) for REGDATA and BEEDS submissions Monitor new and updated regulatory requirements to ensure compliance Develop and update regulatory reporting policies and procedures Assist in preparing Pillar 3, ICAAP, and ILAAP documents Support liquidity and capital monitoring and produce management information (MI) reports Perform controls and reconcile regulatory returns with financial statements for accuracy Collaborate with stakeholders to understand products and their regulatory treatment Follow bank policies and keep managers informed of relevant issues Support creation of monthly/quarterly MI dashboards for governing bodies

The successful candidate will have:

ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification preferred Knowledge of PRA/Bank of England requirements (COREP, FINREP, BoE returns), EBA regulations, and Q&A updates At least 2 years’ regulatory reporting experience Strong data analysis skills to assess data quality Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and building MI dashboards Solid understanding of validation rules, definitions, and interactions between returns Proactive in identifying misclassifications and cleaning data Experience with SUADE software (desirable)
