We are looking for a Resource Officer to come to work within our Adult Social Care, Neighbourhood Support Team based in Lewes, East Sussex. We have excellent relationships with local partners, and this post would offer the preferred candidate the opportunity to work alongside other professionals to ensure good outcomes for the individual’s you are working with. You will gain a detailed knowledge of the Care Act (2014), Mental Capacity Act (2005), Equality legislation and the Deprivation of Liberty safeguards, and will implement this in your daily practice. You will also be expected to carry out the Local Authorities safeguarding duties to protect and mitigate risks to the individuals we serve. We are looking for candidates who: Have experience working in an Adult Social Care or Social Care setting Can communicate effectively with a range of people Are motivated about supporting others to achieve their outcomes Can meet the travel requirements of the role. You will be required to travel across East Sussex, including rural areas. Can demonstrate resilience and flexibility to manage their caseload efficiently and effectively.
