Sales Executive
Job Description We’re looking for a driven, high-performing Sales Executive to join our advertising sales team in a sales role. Based in the UK, you’ll be responsible for winning new clients across the international rail and freight sectors, playing a key role in growing the Rail portfolio’s advertising revenue and market presence. What you’ll do New Business Development - Proactively identify, target and win new advertising clients worldwide and build relationships with senior decision-makers through outreach, networking and consultative selling Solution Selling - Understand client marketing goals and create tailored, multi-platform advertising solutions Own the Full Sales Cycle - Prospect, qualify, pitch, negotiate and close. Consistently exceed new business revenue targets and KPIs Collaborate for Success - Partner with Account Management, Editorial and Operations teams to deliver seamless campaigns and long-term client value Our Advertising Portfolio You’ll sell across a powerful, multi-channel platform including: Digital display & sponsorship across RailwayGazette.com, RailBusinessUK.com, RailFreight.com, SpoorPro.nl and leading editorial newsletters Content partnerships (paid content, webinars, podcasts and bespoke solutions) Event partnership across RailTech Europe, SpoorPro Conference, RailFreight Conference and Railway Gazette Summit. Print advertising in Railway Gazette International, RailFreight and official trade show publications worldwide Qualifications What you bring Proven success in new business sales, ideally within media, advertising or B2B Confident managing a global territory and international deals Strong communicator and negotiator, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders Self-motivated, target-driven and resilient CRM experience (Salesforce) Additional Information As part of the Rail & Cargo division, you’ll work in a fast-moving, international environment where quality, ownership and initiative matter.
