Science Technician – Outstanding Secondary School – Westminster, Central London

Salary: £30,000 | Full-Time | Permanent | Immediate / September Start

The Role

As a Science Technician, you will be the backbone of the Science department, ensuring lessons run smoothly by preparing equipment, materials, and experiments across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and setting up equipment for practical science lessons Supporting teachers during experiments and demonstrations Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment and resources Ensuring all health & safety regulations are followed at all times Managing stock levels and ordering materials when required Safely storing chemicals and disposing of waste appropriately Assisting with displays and maintaining a stimulating learning environment

Who They’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Science Technician or working in a lab environment is advantageous, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
