Section manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Section Manager to join our Responsive Maintenance team, delivering repairs and maintenance services to our social housing partner across the Barnsley area. This is a key leadership role where you will manage a team of operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard while keeping customer satisfaction at the heart of everything you do.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of operatives delivering responsive repairs and maintenance Ensure works are completed within KPI targets,timescalesand quality standards Carry out pre- and post-inspections andprovidetechnical guidance Plan andprogrammeworks to maximise productivity and efficiency Support resolution of complex repairs and escalations Build strong relationships with client representatives and residents Ensure adherence to health & safety and company standards Provide coaching,supportand development to the team Monitorperformance and drive continuous improvement

Essential

What We're Looking For

Experience in a supervisory or management role within repairs & maintenance Background in social housing or property maintenance Strong leadership and people management skills Full UK drivinglicence SSSTS or SMSTS qualification

Desirable

Trade background (e.g.carpentry, plumbing, multi-trade) Experience working on responsive repairs contracts Knowledge of KPIs and service delivery standards
