Senior Accounts Specialist (Payable & Receivable) Location: Kirkcaldy (Office-Based) Salary: £33,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to grow within a high-energy, ambitious group? We are currently expanding our finance team in Kirkcaldy and are looking for two motivated individuals to join us as a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist and Senior Accounts Payable Specialist. The Roles: While both roles support the wider finance function and ensure the business maintains a healthy cash flow, they each focus on a specific side of our financial operations: Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist: In this role, you will support the efficient management of incoming payments, maintain accurate financial records, and help ensure strong cash flow for the business. Senior Accounts Payable Specialist: In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting the wider accounts function. You will play a vital role in maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers. Key Responsibilities (Shared & Specific): Accurately maintain financial records and assist with month-end closing activities. Process invoices (Purchase for SAPS / Sales for SARS) with high attention to detail. Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Provide excellent communication to both internal teams and external partners. Support audits and prepare financial reports. What We Are Looking For: Previous experience in a finance, APS, or ARS role is preferred. Strong numerical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. High level of accuracy, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative team spirit. An AAT qualification (or working towards one) and experience with ERP systems like Xero. Why Join Us?
