We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Financial Analyst. This is a key position within the Financial Planning & Analysis team, providing financial business partnering and management accounting support across Academic Departments and Professional Services.
As Senior Financial Analyst, You Will Be Responsible For
Providing financial business partnering support, advice and analysis for Academic Departments and Professional Services budget holders and their teams Delivering accurate and timely month end / year end processes and reporting, including responses to auditor queries Contributing to budgeting & forecasting activities and working with stakeholders to meet the requirements of the University's annual planning and quarterly forecasting cycles Managing the team's shared mailbox, completing workflow tasks and maintaining financial master data Supporting completion of regulatory and statutory returns as required Actively participating in continuous improvement
We are looking for a candidate with a financial qualification or equivalent and a proven track record in a management accounting, finance business partnering or similar environment. An understanding of accounting in a University context would be desirable however is not essential. Excellent accounting, organisational, analytical and IT skills are a must in addition to bringing a positive, collaborative approach.
