HR Business Partner / Project Support Advisor Fixed-Term Contract On-site

About the Role We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner / Project Support Advisor to provide hands-on, generalist HR support.

This is a fixed-term, project-focused role designed to strengthen HR capacity. You will work closely with senior HR stakeholders and operational leaders, supporting employee relations activity, consultation processes, and day-to-day HR operations throughout the project lifecycle.

The role is predominantly on-site and requires flexibility, resilience, and the ability to manage a varied and fast-paced workload.

Key Responsibilities Provide practical HR generalist support across the full employee lifecycle Assist with employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations Coach and advise managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law matters Support recruitment activity and onboarding during the project period Maintain accurate employee data and ensure HR systems integrity Analyse HR data to support workforce planning, retention, and compliance Act as an employee advocate while balancing business needs and fair practice Contribute to HR initiatives that enable successful project delivery Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards

About You You will be a confident and pragmatic HR professional who enjoys working close to the business and isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves.

Essential: Proven HR generalist experience, including strong employee relations exposure Good working knowledge of UK employment law Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, change-driven environment Strong communication, influencing, and coaching skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions Collaborative, adaptable, and resilient in style

Desirable: Degree-qualified in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent experience Manufacturing or operational environment experience Passion for HR process improvement and change management

Security & Eligibility Eligibility for BPSS security clearance is required You must have the right to work in the UK

Contract Details Fixed-term contract until 31 December 2026 (likelihood of extension) Full-time, on-site role
