An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Product Developer to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business based in Grimsby.

This role is ideal for a passionate and commercially aware product development professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys taking products from concept through to launch.

The Role Reporting into the Development Manager, you will play a key role in the creation and delivery of innovative, high-quality food products for both retail and foodservice customers.

Responsibilities will include: Leading and managing product development projects from concept to launch Developing commercially viable and innovative food products in line with customer and market trends Working closely with Technical, Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams Managing customer briefs and presenting products confidently to internal and external stakeholders Conducting factory trials, product benchmarking, and shelf-life evaluations Ensuring products meet quality, cost, and manufacturing requirements Supporting continuous improvement and innovation initiatives across the business

About You The successful candidate will have: Previous experience within a Senior Product Development or Product Developer role in food manufacturing Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and factory environments Experience working with retail and/or foodservice customers Excellent project management and organisational skills A creative mindset combined with strong commercial awareness Confidence working cross-functionally and communicating with stakeholders at all levels Degree qualification in Food Science, Product Development, or a related discipline preferred
