Senior Project Manager - Real Estate Consultancy Location: Central London Working Pattern: 3 days per week in office/on client site Compensation: £57,000 – £77,000 depending on experience

About The Organisation Sentinel is partnering with a leading consultancy to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join their established team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing, specialist team of 60+ people delivering complex projects across the NHS and wider healthcare estates, including hospital refurbishments, trust commissions, and upgrades across live, operational healthcare environments. This position offers real opportunities to gain experience and progress to more senior positions, as well as the ability to move into different teams, or work internationally.

About The Role You'll take end-to-end ownership of project management commissions across the healthcare sector - working independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and acting as the key client-facing lead throughout.

Day-to-day responsibilities include: Advising clients at a strategic level from feasibility through to handover Developing and implementing project plans aligned to strategic objectives Leading and mentoring the project team, fostering a high-performance culture Establishing project success criteria across time, cost, quality, and performance Identifying, assessing, and managing risks with effective mitigation strategies Managing NEC contracts and overseeing contract administration throughout Managing change control, project finances, and commercial performance Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across client and supply chain Monitoring and reporting on project progress using appropriate metrics and KPIs Ensuring compliance with DHSC management systems and tools where applicable Managing quality, safety, health, and environment matters throughout delivery

Required Skills/Experience Proven project management experience (healthcare sector preferred) Strong NEC contract administration skills Commercially astute, with experience managing large budgets and resources Experience in a consultancy environment (strong contractor-side PMs also considered) Degree qualified in a relevant discipline Professional accreditation (MCIOB, APM, or equivalent) desirable Ability to work independently and manage 1–4 concurrent projects without close day-to-day oversight
