Senior Rust Developer – Elite Trading Firm, London : £150-200k

They are seeking a Senior Rust Developer to join their highly skilled engineering team in London. What you’ll do: Maintain and enhance peripheral applications and user interfaces using the latest Rust and .NET technologies, supporting 24/7 trading operations. Collaborate in an international, agile team of like-minded professionals. Work closely with senior engineers to explore emerging technologies and best practices, designing and integrating improvements to expand system capabilities. Take ownership of production support and ensure system reliability. Mentor and guide junior team members, shaping the future of the team.

What we’re looking for: 6–8 years of software development experience, with strong exposure to Linux environments. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline. Proven expertise in writing clean, efficient Rust code. C++ an added bonus A genuine passion for financial markets and blockchain technologies. Experience building reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems. Strong problem-solving skills with a drive to deliver elegant solutions. Bonus: knowledge of multithreading, web protocols (WebSocket, RESTful), or high throughput/low latency systems. Experience mentoring and developing engineers.
