Senior Specialist Pharmacist - Ambulatory Care
Join one of the South West's largest tertiary cancer centres and help transform our new Ambulatory service!
We're looking to recruit an experienced Senior Specialist Cancer Pharmacist to lead the development and delivery of our brand-new Ambulatory Cancer Care Pharmacy Service within the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre (BHOC)
. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious Senior Pharmacist who is passionate about service innovation and patient-centred care. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and shaping the ambulatory care service, working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to develop clinical pathways, optimise treatment delivery, and enhance patient outcome
s. We are seeking a pharmacist with significant cancer services experience and a strong understanding of ambulatory care models. Experience within haematology services, including Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and/or CAR-T therapy, would be highly advantageo

oing: Lead, develop and manage the Ambulatory service for patients receiving treatment through the ambulatory cancer care se rvice.Support the design, implementation and ongoing development of a new ambulatory care model, ensuring safe, effective and patient-focused service del ivery.Work collaboratively with medical, nursing and operational colleagues to establish innovative treatment pathways and optimise patient out comes.Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to both haematology and oncology patients across inpatient and outpatient set tings.Contribute specialist expertise to patients undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), CAR-T therapy and systemic anti-cancer treatment ( SACT).Provide expert evidence-based advice on the safe and effective use of cancer ther apies.Practise as an Independent Prescriber within the multidisciplinary team, supporting treatment optimisation and improved patient exper ience.Manage, mentor and develop members of the pharmacy team.Actively support education, training and workforce development across pharmacy and wider healthcare
