We are keen to hear from applicants who are dynamic, flexible and self-motivated in providing excellent patient care whilst demonstrating strong leadership and management skills to develop a work force & culture fit for the future of Critical Care.
We are looking for experienced, proactive, enthusiastic and caring individuals, who will enjoy working in these demanding and rapidly changing environments, supporting all levels of nursing staff and caring for Level 1, 2 and Level 3 patients.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our dedicated Critical Care workforce at Glan Clwyd Hospital where we are motivated by innovation, the desire to make a difference and our passion for patient centred care.
You will be a clinically advanced in critical care through extensive and recent clinical experience. Working in a similar clinical environment at a Band 5 or above and have proven management, communication and leadership skills. You must be able to provide evidence of continuous professional development in critical care nursing. Individuals must be able to work without direct supervision and be able to work flexibly using their own initiative. Ideally, you will have a specialist course in Critical Care (or relevant critical care nursing experience) as well as a Mentorship qualification or equivalent, a recognised degree in Nursing (or equivalent) is desirable.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
