The Role We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join Robert Walters as a Consultant. As a Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an assignment within our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional support.

What You'll Do Own complex technical initiatives end-to-end, from discovery to implementation, providing full accountability for timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control. Translate strategic intent into coherent delivery plans, governance models, and progress reporting to senior stakeholders for transparency and decision-making. Establish and enforce governance frameworks tailored to initiative scale, complexity, and risk, ensuring compliance with technology, security, architectural, and delivery standards. Lead and influence senior technology, product, and business stakeholders in a matrix environment, coordinating cross-team efforts and clarifying roles/responsibilities. Manage vendor lifecycles including engagement, RFPs, selection, onboarding, contracts, performance, and integrated delivery of dependencies/risks. Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate delivery risks/dependencies with recommendations, maintaining alignment to outcomes, benefits, and business objectives. Drive value-focused delivery with smooth transitions to live operations, while contributing to continuous improvement in practices, governance, and ways of working.

What You Bring Minimum 5 years' experience as a Classic Technical Project Manager Expert in stakeholder management Strong regulatory compliance expertise Significant experience leading complex technology initiatives in large, distributed organisations Proven track record managing cross-team and multi-vendor technical delivery Strong understanding of technology delivery lifecycles, governance, and risk management Experience operating in hybrid delivery environments (e.g., Agile, incremental, phased)
