Strategic transport modelling sits at the heart of this work, providing the evidence base for scheme feasibility, business cases, appraisal and environmental assessment.

The Opportuni tyWe are seeking an experienced Senior Transport Modeller to help shape and grow Arup’s strategic transport modelling capability. This role offers the opportunity to apply deep analytical thinking to complex transport challenges, supporting evidence‑based decision‑making and the development of robust business case s.You will work within multidisciplinary teams as a strategic transport modelling technical lead, specifying, designing and delivering modelling work across a range of client contexts. The role focuses on developing high‑quality strategic models, interpreting outputs, and forming clear, compelling narratives that communicate complex insights to diverse audience s.Alongside technical delivery, you will contribute to client engagement, proposal development and capability growth, support junior colleagues, and work with teams across the business to apply transport modelling principles to specialist areas of Arup’s work.
