Working Pattern: 8 Hours per week, Wednesday 9:45am – 2:45pm & Thursday 9:45am – 12:45pm

Job Details 

Join our Community Learning & Development team and support the delivery of EasyP programme, helping young people aged 16-18 build confidence, skills and move into positive futures. 

What you will do:

  • Deliver engaging group sessions and learning activities. 

  • Build trusted relationships with young people. 

  • Support confidence, wellbeing and employability skills 

  • Help young people progress to education, training or work. 

  • Work with partners to provide joined-up support. 

You will bring

  • Experience of working with young people. 

  • Confidence leading groups and engaging young people. 

  • Strong communication skills. 

  • A positive, supportive and inclusive approach. 

The Person

  • Significant experience in a youth work setting.  

  • SVQ 2 or 3 in Youth Work/PDA is desirable 

  • Experience of developing learning and education programmes with young people. (deliver results – See ‘How We Work Matters’ framework) 

  • Good organisational skills. 

  • Ability to plan a programme around their needs. 

  • Group facilitation skills 

  • Ability to handle challenging situations. 

  • Ability to motivate young people and encourage participation. 

  • Ability to provide a regular and effective service. 

  • Ability to travel within Fife if required.  

  • Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain a Level 2 disclosure with PVG
