ATP, an RSK Group company, are recruiting for a Senior or Associate Architect to join the team based in Loughton. This is a full-time, permanent position.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in the residential sector, particularly in large-scale flatted developments, and a proven ability to lead teams and manage consultant coordination. Increasingly, ATP is appointed as Lead Consultant, so experience in this role and direct client liaison is essential.
Responsibilities:
Represent ATP at the highest level Provide leadership, management, and direction across project teams Act as Lead Consultant, managing multidisciplinary consultant teams and ensuring coordinated delivery Lead client engagement and reporting, acting as the key project contact Deliver a full Architect’s Service in line with the RIBA Plan of Work Oversee project delivery from inception to completion Manage and mentor a team of architects and technical staff Maintain high standards of design, technical delivery, and contract administration Review drawings and specifications for coordination, accuracy, and compliance Provide architectural and technical advice to clients Contribute to ATP’s business objectives and growth Lead by example and support the development of the wider team
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in a senior architectural role (Associate level or similar) Strong leadership and team management skills Experience delivering large-scale residential projects Experience acting as Lead Consultant Excellent client-facing and communication skills Strong technical knowledge of construction and detailing Thorough understanding of planning, building regulations, and NHBC standards High level of proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Strong project management and organisational skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
