Sequence Lead | AI Artist

We're looking for a new kind of image-maker.

AcmeAI & FX is seeking a AI Sequence Lead/ Senior AI Artist to help lead the visual language of a feature film using generative AI as a tool. This role sits at the intersection of visual effects, filmmaking, and emerging technology.

You'll be responsible for translating complex creative concepts into controlled, production-ready visuals — often setting the benchmark for the rest of the team. Senior artists carry greater independence on complex or hero shots and are expected to clarify ambiguity before generation begins, not after. Generative AI harnesses imagination. We need someone who can shape that imagination into consistent, repeatable visual outcomes, while guiding others in the process.

What You'll Do Lead the creation of hero and complex start frames Translate high-level creative direction into executable visual systems Establish visual consistency across sequences Refine prompt frameworks and generation methodologies Support advanced AI animation and multi-pass workflows Identify brief ambiguity or scope conflicts before work begins Mentor mid and junior artists and contribute to internal review

What We're Looking For Advanced experience with generative AI image platforms & tools (Google Flow, Freepik, Flux, Seedream, Midjourney etc.) Deep working knowledge of ComfyUI Basic understanding of Python ideally with experience building or modifying custom nodes Strong understanding of AI-driven animation workflows Proven ability to deliver complex, multi-element visuals independently Familiarity with compositing and layered image pipelines Strong conceptual thinking and art direction awareness Leadership presence and mentoring mindset
