We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our growing marketing team at Great British Drinks Company, supporting a fast-expanding portfolio of distinctive, characterful drinks brands. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, commercially minded social specialist to take ownership of content, community, and storytelling across multiple brand worlds; helping shape how our portfolio shows up in culture, online, and in the hands of consumers. About the role As Social Media Manager, you will lead the day-to-day and strategic delivery of social content across our brand portfolio. You’ll be responsible for building engaging, platform-native content, growing communities, and driving measurable brand impact across both paid and organic channels. You’ll work closely with events & hospitality and commercial teams to ensure social sits at the heart of campaigns, product launches, and always-on brand storytelling. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment and enjoys balancing creativity with performance.
Key Responsibilities Own and deliver the social media strategy across multiple drinks brands within the portfolio Plan, create, and publish engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn (and emerging platforms as relevant) Develop always-on content calendars aligned to brand and commercial priorities Manage community engagement, ensuring timely, on-brand responses and audience growth Work closely with design, brand, and external creators to produce high-quality creative assets Lead social-first thinking across campaigns, launches, and partnerships Monitor, analyse, and report on performance, using insights to optimise content and strategy Stay ahead of social trends, cultural moments, and platform developments Support paid social activity in collaboration with media partners or internal teams where relevant About you Proven experience in social media management (ideally across multiple brands as well as FMCG/drinks/consumer lifestyle) Is experienced and passionate about a strategic approach to social media & content planning Strong content creation instincts with a deep understanding of platform-native storytelling Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment Good understanding of social analytics and performance optimisation Creative, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills Passion for drinks, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is a bonus

This is a hybrid role based across sites. Primarily based out of the Batley office (WF17 9QD), with frequent travel required for shoots, events and customer engagement across the estate.
