Job Overview

Join the Central Engineering GPU Operations team as a Project Manager where you will lead delivery of software projects that help our partners’ build energy efficient Arm powered products. To be considered for this role, you will have a solid track record in software delivery management and experience in leading software projects using iterative / agile development methods. Excellent interpersonal skills are a requirement, as is displaying confident leadership and a dedication to engage the team and drive your projects through to success.

Responsibilities

You will:

Own and drive planning, scheduling, tracking, monitoring and reporting for your projects. Motivate and drive teams to deliver commitments. Ensure project governance, and proactively drive project risks, change and dependencies to conclusion. Have strong organizational skills, a can-do approach and be a collaborative member of the team. Work closely with adjacent functional groups such as Engineering, Product Management, Legal and Operations. Intentionally engage to develop and improve our processes and practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Degree/Masters qualified in Software/Electronics Engineering or Computer science. Project leadership experience in the execution and successful delivery of complex Software development projects (real time SW for embedded Systems and Application SW). With multiple teams of sizes typically 5-10+ people each Software development experience with familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle, and of Project and Product Lifecycles. Knowledge of the professional project management process areas, methodologies and tools and system development processes, eg. Agile, Scrum, Safe, Waterfall Experience of developing within embedded system architectures and implementations Experience of leading software quality management activities Experience of leading teams across cultures and locations

'Nice To Have’ Skills & Experience

Desirable experience of leading organisational change Preferable experience with Atlassian JIRA and MS Projects tools Preferably trained in project management with accredited certification through Scrum master, APM, Prince 2, IPM, PMP, CAPMor equivalent Ability to translate complex technical challenges into actionable plans and milestones Exposure to Open-Source Software. Usage of supporting tools commonly used in Arm project management e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project. Professional memberships or qualifications in project management methodologies e.g; APM/PMI/Prince2
