To support that ambition, we’re looking for a Litigation Solicitor to join our legal team, with a particular focus on commercial disputes and construction related litigation. This is a role where your legal expertise will directly support major infrastructure and energy projects—helping manage risk, resolve disputes and protect the delivery of critical programmes that underpin the journey to Net Zero. What you’ll be doing In this role, you will be working as part of a respected and very collaborative team. You will advise on wide variety of disputes including complex high value construction disputes, linked to major infrastructure projects. You’ll support dispute avoidance through early issue identification, contract interpretation and risk assessment, helping to shape effective dispute strategy and deliver pragmatic, commercially focused outcomes. Working closely with senior stakeholders, project teams and external advisers, you’ll manage disputes from instruction through to resolution, including overseeing external counsel where required. What you’ll bring You’ll be a qualified solicitor with a current UK practising certificate and hold strong experience post PQE. You will have strong experience advising on disputes, ideally with exposure to construction, engineering or infrastructure matters although not essential. Your experience may have been gained in private practice or within an in-house legal team, and you’ll be known for your pragmatic, solutions focused approach. Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, you’ll combine strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance legal risk against business priorities and deliver clear, practical advice.
