We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Solicitor (1–4 years PQE) to join our Serious Injury team in Manchester, working alongside Partner Richard Biggs on a high-quality and rewarding caseload.

Serious personal injury cases can have a profound and life-changing impact. At Irwin Mitchell, our teams go beyond compensation claims—we work closely with clients and their families to ensure rehabilitation and wider needs are fully supported.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage your own caseload of serious injury matters Assist senior lawyers on complex, high-value claims (including brain, spinal cord, and amputation cases) Deliver clear, practical, and compassionate legal advice to clients Work collaboratively within a market-leading team Contribute to business development and team growth initiatives Take a proactive, organised approach to case management 1–4 years PQE, ideally with experience in serious injury or personal injury work Strong commercial awareness and a proactive mindset Excellent communication skills with empathy and compassion A genuine passion for serious injury law The drive to develop professionally and contribute to team success 25 days holidays as standard plus bank holidays - You can ‘buy’ up to 35hrs of extra holiday too.
