An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior nurse to join the Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership (ACHSCP) Senior Nursing Team in the role of CTAC and Vaccination Lead Nurse supporting Aberdeen City wide Vaccination Delivery and delivery of CTAC (Community Treatment and Care) Services.
Hours of work will be 36 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
The post holder will work collaboratively to provide clinical and professional nursing leadership and support for the delivery of clinical services by ensuring that robust systems, policies, procedures, professional guidance, standards, training and education strategies are in place. The post holder will be innovative, forward thinking and personable.
This post will work City wide and support the current and developing teams as we progress through the delivery of the Primary Care Improvement Plan.
The CTAC and Vaccination Lead Nurse will work under the direction and professional leadership of ACHSCP Deputy Chief Nurse, taking responsibility for the standard of nursing practice across the CTAC and Vaccination landscape within the remit and responsibility of the ACHSCP.
This post will work closely with the wider Primary Care Delivery Team as well as contributing to work streams across NHS Grampian, with a particular focus on the provision of professional workforce standards and safe, quality care.
In addition the post holder will provide ACHSCP with appropriate Professional Nursing advice, guidance and leadership to inform decision making, planning, strategic and risk management and maintain expertise in clinical nursing practice, acting as a clinical expert in the field.
Applicants will be a Registered Nurse, educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably working towards masters level with recent experience of working in a leadership clinical role and have the ability to work autonomously.

Additional Information For Candidates
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
