Working on behalf of the five Football Associations, we collaborate closely with governments, host cities, stadiums and delivery partners to ensure the tournament is delivered safely, inclusively and to world-class standards.

About UEFA EURO 2028 The UEFA European Championship is one of the world’s biggest sporting events. In 2028, it will take place across the UK & Ireland, bringing significant operational scale and requiring close coordination between host cities, stadiums, government partners and UEFA.

The Role This is an exciting opportunity to be UK & Ireland 2028 Limited's primary point of contact across specific UEFA EURO 28 host stadiums and their associated local stakeholders. You will lead on agreed areas of planning and delivery for the allocated stadiums, ensuring deliverables are effectively planned and executed.

You will be a key contributor within the Stadium Liaison delivery team consisting of UK & Ireland 2028 employed staff, UEFA delegated services staff and appointed contractors.

Primarily based at our HQ in Wembley Stadium, you will also participate in stadium working visit cycles, leading on all UK & Ireland 2028 deliverables. Working visits are scheduled every 6-9 months and involve extended periods of travel, approximately one week at each stadium (a maximum of 9 stadiums).

What you’ll be doing Maintain strong, collaborative working relationships between UEFA, UK & Ireland 2028, and host stadiums. To be one of the central points of contact for UEFA to deliver an efficient and coordinated approach to enable the smooth delivery of the stadium in line with the Tournament Requirements. Work alongside the Director of Operations and Head of Stadium Liaison to maintain the relationship between local stakeholders, including police, mobility partners, city authorities and host city leads. Manage the planning of assigned stadiums in the following UK & Ireland 2028 key areas of stadium planning and delivery. Specifically: In conjunction with other key parties, coordinate the design, procurement and operational delivery of the stadium outer security perimeters. Assist in the contracting of all external (non-stadium owned) land and building hire to support the tournament requirements, and the ongoing relationship management of the sites. With the assistance of finance colleagues, coordinate the management of our Government Partners' funding contributions, including temporary overlay, the provision of land rental agreements and outer security perimeters for the allocated venues. Provide experience and associated qualifications relating to the stadium operation, local legislation and working practices.

What we’re looking for Demonstrable expertise as a venue/project manager capable of leading areas of an event delivery team. Strong knowledge of large-scale stadia and working alongside associated delivery stakeholders. Experience managing the planning & delivery of multiple sites. Strong negotiator capable of driving cost-effective overlay solutions. Problem-solver - ability to use own initiative and find new solutions and working methods to enable the smooth event delivery. Effective leadership skills.

Why apply? We offer a competitive salary (plus benefits of 25 days holiday, contributory pension, Private Medical Insurance etc), which coupled with the opportunity to be part of one of the biggest sporting events to ever take place across UK & Ireland we think makes for an exciting place to be!

Where is the role based? Our head office is based at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, however, depending on your role, you may be required to travel across the UK and Ireland to our 9 Stadiums and 8 Host Cities, with some roles being based in those locations. Because we are an event delivery organisation, time together in person is essential for effective planning and collaboration. In 2026, most colleagues work at least three days a week from Wembley. In 2027, this will increase to 3–4 days a week as operations intensify. In 2028, during tournament delivery, full-time onsite working will be required.
