We are working with a global, data-led consultancy operating at the intersection of analytics, technology, and commercial strategy. As they continue to scale internationally, they are looking to appoint a fully qualified finance professional to take ownership of a standalone finance role supporting their International Markets. This is a high-impact position that blends strategic business partnering with hands-on financial ownership. You will operate as the key finance contact for the region, working closely with senior stakeholders across the UK, US, and wider markets, driving both performance and decision-making. The role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys owning the full finance lifecycle while also contributing at a strategic level balancing operational delivery with forward-looking commercial insight.
Overview: This role offers a unique mix of FP&A, commercial finance, and operational control within a fast-paced, international environment. You will play a central role in shaping financial direction while ensuring the fundamentals are delivered with precision. As a standalone finance lead, you will need to be comfortable operating autonomously, managing competing priorities, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
Responsibilities: Act as the primary finance partner to senior stakeholders across international markets Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes Own month-end close, including revenue recognition, reporting, and variance analysis Deliver clear, commercially focused insights to support strategic decision-making Build and maintain robust financial models to support planning and investment decisions Support strategic initiatives through business cases and ad-hoc analysis Monitor performance, identifying risks and opportunities to drive improved outcomes Take ownership of financial processes, driving continuous improvement and efficiency
Requirements Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) – essential Proven experience across commercial finance, FP&A, and business partnering Strong track record of operating in a standalone or highly autonomous role Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery Confident influencing and challenging senior stakeholders Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills Comfortable working in a fast-moving, international environment
