Based in Walker | Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) | Full time

Leader Education are thrilled to be recruiting a Student Engagement Mentor to join a passionate and dedicated team within a welcoming Pupil Referral Unit in Walker.

This unique setting supports pupils from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 4, providing vital guidance to young people who may be at risk of exclusion or who have faced challenges in mainstream education. What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting students both emotionally and academically to help them thrive Working closely with teaching and pastoral teams to deliver targeted 1:1 and small group support Helping students develop positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation skills Building confidence in learners within the classroom and across the school community Encouraging greater engagement, participation, and enjoyment in learning Staying calm under pressure and confidently de-escalating challenging situations
