We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, passionate and experienced Subject Leader of PSHCE who is also able to teach across the Humanities curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to lead and develop a high-quality PSHCE provision while contributing to a thriving Humanities department.
About The Role
The successful candidate will:
Lead and manage the strategic development of PSHCE across the school Deliver engaging and inclusive PSHCE lessons that promote students’ personal development, wellbeing and citizenship Teach Humanities subjects (e.g. History, Geography, or RE) to a high standard across Key Stages 3 and 4 Monitor and evaluate the impact of the PSHCE curriculum, ensuring it meets statutory requirements Support staff in delivering effective PSHCE lessons through training and resources Contribute to the wider life of the school

Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a track record of strong outcomes Has experience (or the ambition) to lead a subject area Is passionate about student wellbeing, personal development, and inclusion Has strong organisational and leadership skills Can inspire and motivate students and staff alike Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
