Supervisor
We are Barnes's most unique pub, with an island bar, a snug, sixty-cover restaurant, a stunning private room as well as a large events space overlooking the river. On top of our loyal regulars, we host weddings, birthday parties and all sorts of celebrations. Not to forget our historical jazz room, which dates back to the fifties, where we host live jazz music. Our Chefs pride themselves on fresh, seasonal produce and what we think is the best Sunday roast in Barnes. General Manager Karolina and the front-of-house team strive to offer guests a fun and relaxed environment, where 4 legged friends are welcome. When it comes to service, we believe it’s about doing the basics really well and attention to detail, but above all, it’s about the people. You can make a difference and make our customers' visits truly memorable. If you'd like to join our ever-growing team then get in touch.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
