Systems Accountant 12 month FTC £60,000 PA Financial Services London, Hybrid working Start ASAP

Responsibilities Supporting finance systems, data, and processes to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting Owning system reconciliations, issue tracking, and day‑to‑day system support Acting as a key finance contact on system changes and company wide projects Supporting testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT) for new systems, enhancements, and process changes Investigating system and data queries, assisting with data quality checks, and performing routine controls and testing Supporting finance risk management, including maintaining the finance risk register Assisting with small change initiatives, impact analysis, and ad‑hoc finance projects

Personal Profile Immediately available or available on a short notice, qualified or part qualified accountant with experience in a finance role that has included both financial reporting and undergone a systems change, upgrade or migration A basic understanding of systems and data (or strong interest in developing this) Financial services background - desireable Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
