About The Role

The Talent & Engagement Partner will be responsible for taking Addison Lee’s recruitment & engagement strategy to the next stage of its evolution. At Addison Lee the foundation of recruitment processes are established and now there is a need for an experienced and passionate recruiter to join the team to build on approaches to meet business demands and attract top talent.

The Talent & Engagement Partner will join the HR team as the subject matter expert and will use their skills and experience to evolve how Addison Lee attracts talented, high potential candidates and keeps them engaged. The role holder will be responsible for all Addison Lee recruitment from sourcing and shortlisting to accessing and interviewing, whilst working closely with the wider HR team to create and maintain a forward-thinking, engaging workplace.

This role is based at our head office in Paddington (with hybrid working) with occasional travel to our other locations

Main Accountabilities

Talent Acquisition

Responsible for recruiting across all roles business wide at all levels tailoring the approach for each campaign, taking ownership of attracting top talent through a range of sourcing channels.

Proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn recruiter, job boards, events, networking, referrals and headhunting.

Commercially minded, managing the end-to-end hiring process, partnering closely with the hiring managers and acting as a trusted advisor and able to coach and guide on best practice.

Responsible for building and maintaining a diverse talent pipeline (both internal & external) with talent pools to support current and future needs to close skill-gaps.

Contributing to employer branding initiatives across platforms like Glassdoor, LinkedIn and our own website.

Uses market knowledge and initiative to solve hard to recruit roles with a range of methods and cost-effective channels.

Maximises use of the ATS (currently Teamtailor) to increase efficiencies and improve candidate experience.

Responsible for managing and refreshing the PSL.

Analyses all recruitment activity to ensure ongoing improvement and produces regular reports and insights to designs and deliver recruitment training.

Works with managers to ensure job descriptions are kept up to date.

Coaches and guides more junior HR team members in recruitment best practice.

Keeps abreast of the market and current attraction methods and provides salary benchmarking data to the business.

Leverages the apprenticeship levy to build out an effective apprenticeship programme.

Engagement

Manage the build, delivery and analysis of annual employee engagement survey, including post survey action planning.

Help create an engaging working environment for future generations working closely with the wider HR team to align this with development and growth opportunities.

Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s culture and values.

Manage and plan engagement activities across all locations, ensuring annual cycle is maintained and delivered within budget.

Requirements

Demonstrable recent internal/in house recruitment experience across a broad range of roles (Sales, Marketing, IT, Account management, Driver Fleet, Maintenance, Call Centres).

Experience of engaging with and sourcing candidates across a range of sectors and levels – demonstrable experience at tapping into the passive candidate market.

Fantastic stakeholder management experience, able to engage with all levels of the business.

Experience running engagement surveys, reporting on data and creating and communicating actions plans, comfortable and confident in engaging with employees from around the business.

Confident in designing and delivering recruitment training to managers.

Excellent attention to detail, organising and planning skills.

Uses an equitable and inclusive approach to sourcing talent.

Comfortable acting as a vocal Addison Lee ambassador on external platforms.

Strong team player who can work on own initiative, coupled with a positive attitude and flexible approach.

An up-to-date knowledge of the recruitment landscape, legislative changes and hiring techniques.

Data driven and analytical approach to managing the process along with ongoing reporting of key metrics.

Working knowledge of apprenticeship levy is desirable

Experience of salary benchmarking database(s) is desirable
