Tax Manager – PE-Backed, High-Growth Group

A leading, private equity-backed UK group is seeking a Tax Manager to join its high-performing Group Finance function. Following a significant take-private transaction, the business is undergoing rapid expansion across the UK and Europe, combining digital innovation with a strong physical market presence.

The Role Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will play a key role across compliance, reporting, and strategic project work, partnering closely with stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities include: Managing UK corporation tax compliance and supporting outsourced processes Supporting tax reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP Assisting with a range of tax projects (including transfer pricing, R&D, and international initiatives) Contributing to governance frameworks (SAO, CCO, tax strategy) Supporting wider tax matters including VAT, employment taxes, and withholding tax Monitoring tax developments and advising on business impact

About You Strong UK tax technical knowledge, with some exposure to international matters advantageous Commercial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-moving environment Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
