Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Teacher of Digital and Computing at the City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College, located in Stoke-on-Trent. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons in digital and computing subjects to students aged 16-19. Key responsibilities include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting the academic and personal development of learners. Collaboration with colleagues to develop and improve course materials, as well as participating in training and professional development opportunities, is also expected. Qualifications Strong skills in Lesson Planning and delivering engaging, structured curriculum content Proficiency in Teaching and Training with a focus on digital and computing subjects Excellent Communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts and provide feedback Background in Education with knowledge of academic and vocational qualification opportunities Relevant degree and teaching qualifications; QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) preferred Commitment to fostering student development and promoting learning in a supportive environment Experience in a sixth form or further education setting is advantageous
