The Department of Management Science seeks to appoint a part-time Teaching Fellow in Project Management (PM) on a 0.6 FTE basis. The department runs a full-time MSc programme in PM, and delivers several PM-related undergraduate modules. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to these teaching activities within a research-intensive Management School.

In this role, you will deliver part or all of several PM-related modules, at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, and be involved in the setting and marking of assessment tasks. You will also work with other members of the department to periodically review the programmes and modules and discuss possible improvements.

You will already hold an academic and/or professional qualification in PM or a related discipline (such as Operations Management, Production Management, or Industrial Engineering). You will also have some teaching experience in the Further Education and/or Higher Education sectors. The role is offered for an initial term of 14 months, although this may be renewed. You will be appointed at either grade 7 (currently £40K-£46K) or grade 8 (currently £47K-£58K), depending on qualifications and experience.

Applications are by letter of no more than two pages setting out why you want the role, and how you meet the person specification. A CV must also be included. Applications must be submitted using the Lancaster jobs portal.

Informal enquiries can be made to Prof Adam N. Letchford, Head of Department (a.n.letchford@lancaster.ac.uk).
