Trade and manage hedging instruments, including credit derivatives and interest rate derivatives. Oversee trade booking and full transaction lifecycle management, ensuring operational accuracy and efficiency. Maintain strong relationships with counterparties and liaise closely with Back Office teams to support seamless trade settlement. Manage and maintain desk analytics, market data, and trading-related systems. Monitor market movements, themes, and technical developments across both primary and secondary markets, providing timely internal market commentary. Work closely with the investment team, including portfolio managers, research analysts, and strategy teams, to support investment decisions and the continued growth of the business. Partner with sales, risk, and compliance teams to leverage internal expertise and support communication with existing and prospective clients. Undertake additional ad hoc duties as required in support of the broader trading desk.

Experience, Qualifications and Attributes

Strong understanding of financial markets, with extensive knowledge of Fixed Income markets and products. Relevant experience within the investment management or broader financial services industry; prior buy-side and/or sell-side experience preferred. Self-motivated and proactive team player with a strong work ethic, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and working effectively as part of a global team. Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication skills, including presentation, written, and verbal communication. Experience using trading platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal, MarketAxess, Tradeweb, and Liquidnet. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline; postgraduate finance qualifications viewed favourably.
