THE ROLE This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking for a challenging and exciting role with one of the leading Music, Media and Entertainment accountancy firms in the industry.

Working in the firm’s music, media and entertainment division, you will be assisting on a large portfolio of predominately film, theatre and gaming related clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Data entry/day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of clients Posting payroll journals and reconciliation of PAYE/NIC control accounts Raising sales invoices in accordance with client contracts and updating of client contract schedule as appropriate Credit Control Payment runs Basic balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of internal month end checklist Preparation of VAT returns for manager review Assisting with all aspects of the portfolio’s financial and personal affairs, as per the clients' needs Client communication via telephone & email Research related to creative industry tax relief General administration as per the requirements of the client.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Bookkeeping experience using accountancy software is a distinct advantage Good foundation knowledge of data entry aspect of bookkeeping is essential Excellent numeracy skills Grade B or above in GCSE Mathematics and English Language A-Level educated (or equivalent) and advantage
