About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our client in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in construction who wants hands-on experience, structured development, and progression within a supportive commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents Support the commercial team with measurement, valuations, and cost reporting Help manage subcontractor enquiries, comparisons, and payments Maintain accurate project records and documentation Work closely with project teams to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Learn and develop core QS skills with support from experienced surveyors
What We’re Looking For
Interest in construction, commercial management, or surveying Strong numeracy and attention to detail Good communication and organisational skills Eagerness to learn and progress within the role Relevant education (e.g., A-Levels, BTEC, or construction-related degree) beneficial but not essential Full UK driving licence preferred
