As an Advisory Data Insights Analyst, you will partner with Leadership, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and client-facing teams to understand business focuses and shape reporting priorities. You will develop, maintain, and continuously enhance recurring reporting packs for leadership using data from firmwide and Advisory reporting and dashboards. These packs will highlight key metrics, trends, and opportunities to enable the Advisory leadership team to make informed decisions relating to investment, client strategy, and market growth. You will ensure all reports and insights are accurate, timely, and aligned with business strategy and objectives. You will translate data into clear, compelling narratives for senior stakeholders, including Partners and the leadership team, and present findings where required. You will work closely with the Advisory Leadership Team, the Advisory Head of Cross-Sell, and the central Data & Insights team, requiring the ability to pivot and influence Partners and Directors as well as peers. You will oversee data integrity across CRM and finance systems, ensuring consistent and accurate reporting, and work closely with Dynamics, Finance, IT, and Business Development teams to resolve data issues, align definitions, and maintain data quality standards. This role offers an opportunity to help shape the strategy of the team, directly contributing to their growth and success.

- Intermediary reciprocity insights
- Trends in why we’re winning / losing opportunities
- Competitor insights and trends – who’s winning the work with our key clients when we’re not
- Referral volumes and trends between service lines / operating units
- Pipeline velocity: How long opportunities spend in each stage, broken down by SL and sector
- Client relationship health scoring: How “deep” and “broad” are our relationships?
- Dormant but high potential accounts
- High-growth sectors with low firm penetration
Requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience
- Experience in data analysis within a professional services, consulting, finance, or similar environment
- Existing knowledge and experience of Microsoft Dynamics and PowerBI
- Strong analytical skills in interpreting financial data
- Ability to transform complex data sets into meaningful insights and clear stories
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data quality
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and manage competing priorities
- Experience of using AI and automation tools (desirable)
- Tenacity, resilience, and a capability to drive projects through to completion (desirable)
- Understanding of sales pipelines, BD metrics, and client lifecycle in a professional services context (desirable)
- Advanced Excel skills (desirable)
- Strong intrapersonal skills (desirable)
- Excellent commercial awareness (desirable)
- Commercial mindset with a curiosity for uncovering underlying trends and opportunities (desirable)
Responsibilities

- Ensure all reports and insights are accurate, timely and aligned with business strategy and objectives
- Translate data into clear, compelling narratives for senior stakeholders, including Partners and leadership team
- Present findings to leadership teams where required
- Oversee data integrity across CRM and finance systems, ensuring consistent and accurate reporting
- Work closely with Dynamics, Finance, IT and Business Development teams to resolve data issues, align definitions and maintain data quality standards
