As part of our management team, we are looking for an energetic and motivated Assistant Community Venue Manager to help lead the smooth, professional and customer‑focused operation of our community venues across North Lanarkshire. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy working with people and want to play a key role in supporting vibrant local services, this could be the perfect next step for you.
In this role, you’ll support the day‑to‑day running of our venues, ensuring high standards, strong customer service and effective use of resources. You’ll help implement new initiatives, contribute to financial and operational management, and play an active part in improving our services. You’ll also support, guide and develop staff, helping to create a positive, inclusive and high‑performing team culture.
Requirements
- Experience in supervising staff within a customer-focused environment
- Experience using various IT packages
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.

- For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
