As an Assistant Site Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering our projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll develop your skills while contributing to projects that make a real difference to communities across the country.

Requirements

  • You hold a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification
  • You have a qualification and/or experience working on operational construction projects
  • You're working towards membership of a Professional Body
  • You're a collaborative team player who communicates honestly and clearly
  • You're focused on continuous improvement and delivering quality work

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Site Manager, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering projects safely and on time. Your day to day will include:

  • Assisting the Site Manager to coordinate resources and implement project plans for your assigned section
  • Building positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Supporting site safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with Kier's SHE policies and procedures
  • Managing and motivating site labour teams to achieve project goals
  • Helping to ensure projects are delivered to the required quality while minimising costs
