We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Fellow in Ophthalmology to join our dynamic corneal team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and develop skills and expertise in ophthalmology, with a strong clinical acumen, outstanding communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care. The aim of this fellowship is to prepare you for independent practice as a consultant ophthalmologist with a special interest in Cornea and Anterior segment surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop skills and expertise in ophthalmology
  • Participate in the corneal service, led by Mr Harry Roberts and Mr Nathaniel Knox Cartwright
  • Strengthen the existing optometry team, which provides ectasia monitoring and contact lens services
  • Opportunity to attend the new Nightingale Unit for high volume cataract surgery if interested in developing skills in this area
